My makeup routine is always changing. I get sent some makeup, quite often to review, so I am constantly switching products up, trying out new things. This is the routine that I do if I want to wear a little more makeup. My everyday makeup is literally just concealer, powder, brows and maybe a little mascara! I do this if I want a more 'glam' look! There is a lot of products mentioned here, so I would not recommend this for everyday, but just now and again when you want to play around with a little more makeup! I always start my makeup with the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Gel, its lightweight and absorbs really quickly, meaning it is the perfect base for makeup! I am always switching out my foundations, but my favourite lately has been the L'Oreal True Match, its lightweight and I don't feel like its too heavy for the summer time, it is also very build able so I can get the coverage I want out of it. Next up is concealer, Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer is the most amazing concealer that I have ever used, it is super flawless, but doesn't look thick or crease throughout the day! I apply it under my eyes in a triangle shape, my forehead and my chin. I also use is after my liquid bronzer to sharpen the contour line!
I have been loving the Benefit Dew The Hoola, liquid bronzer in place of my powder bronzers. It has zero shimmer, and just the right amount of warmth. It is super quick, and very subtle, but perfect to warm up your skin for summer. I apply it to all the places the sun would naturally hit.
I then apply my favourite cream blush right now, the Top Shop Cream Blush in the shade Head Over Heels. I love orange blushes in the summer, they really enhance a tan and bring a little pop of colour to your face. I apply this lightly right on my cheeks, making sure not to apply too much on the apple of my cheek, as my face is round, and this would make it appear more round. The Benefit Watts Up Highlighter is a great cream highlight to apply right on the tops of the cheekbones, which is what I do next!
I set all of my cream and liquid makeup with the *Vichy Dermablend Setting Powder. This is very fine and looks so flawless and airbrushed on the skin. I also use a damp Beauty Blender to use this to 'bake' under my eyes! After about 10 minutes, I dust any excess powder away from under my eyes. Want to learn more about baking your makeup? Recently, I have been loving a strong highlight. *The Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlight looks amazing on the skin. They have amazing discounts on thousands of well known brands, and they ship them out super fast! They also sell so much Makeup Revolution!
I also deepen my contour by using the Benefit Hoola Bronzer. Under the cheekbones, temple and hairline, jawline and also the sides of my nose!
I use the Benefit Ka Brow to outline my brows and also fill in my brows. It is super quick, if you want to see my review on it, click here! I also fill in the front of my brows with the Goof Proof pencil, which allows me to create hair like strokes!
I love the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons palette. I will always use a matte shade in my crease and lower lashine, and then a shimmer shadow on my lid and inner corner, easy and simple! I finish my eyes with some Bare Minerals Lasting Line in Absolute Black on my inner rims, and then YSL Baby Doll Mascara on to my lashes!
For the summer, my lip colour is always changing! I love brighter colours, and Topshop Lipstick shade Freak, is the perfect bright, yet wearable shade!
