Really great affordable makeup can be hard to find, but iver the last few years that I have really gotten into makeup, I have discovered some affordable staples. These are amazing, and some are even better than some of my high end products. All of these I love, and think everyone should give them a go!
REAL TECHNIQUES
These are amazing brushes. They are so affordable, but yet such amazing quality. They don't shed, they are super soft, and they wash really nicely too. These are simply my favourite affordable brushes (along with Blank Canvas Cosmetics), and I think if your into makeup and makeup brushes, like me, you will for sure love them!
NYX BUTTER GLOSS
These are some of the best glosses I have ever tried. They are not sticky in any way, they are highly pigmented, and they stay on for a really long time. They can be worn alone, or on top of a lipstick/liner. They are such a good product!
*MAKEUP REVOLUTION VIVID BAKED HIGHLIGHT / review
I was shocked with this product. When I was sent this, I didn't expect this to be so good. It doesn't look really powdery and cakey on the skin, and it certainly doesn't look glittery and fake. It gives such a lovely glow, which can be sheer, or super intense. I love these and I think they are a must have for any highlight lover!
LOREAL TRUE MATCH FOUNDATION
This is a product that is always very hyped up, and honestly, its totally worth the hype. It provides a medium/build-able coverage, and looks like skin. It has a lovely natural dewy finish, and doesn't look fake or cakey on your skin. It stays on all day, and it actually improves the texture of your skin as you wear it!
NYC SMOOTH SKIN BRONZER IN SUNNY
I remember the first time I ever bought this product. I didn't have Hoola at the time, so I thought I would try this saying everyone said it was an exact dupe. I wouldn't say it is an exact dupe, but it is pretty close. But this is a gorgeous bronzer. It is matte, and very blendable. It creates a very smooth look to your skin, and it lasts really well too! Its one of the best affordable contours out there!
MAYBELLINE SUPER STAY 24 HOUR POWDER
I adore this, it is such a beautiful, medium to full coverage powder. It doesn't go cakey or too dry looking on your skin, in fact, it actually keeps the glow on your skin looking nice and fresh, without making you super matte and flat looking. It is better than a lot of high end powders I have tried!
LOREAL COLOUR RICHE LIPSTICK
These are hands down, without a doubt, the best lipsticks on the high street. They are ultra pigmented, super creamy, and they have so many amazing shades available.
LOREAL SUPER LINER
Want a liner that is super easy and precise? Super black and inky? This is the one for you. It dries matte, and stays in place all day long. It doesn't smudge or transfer onto the eyelid, and the brush makes it so easy to apply!
SOAP AND GLORY BROW ARCHERY
The perfect brow tint and pencil for brows on a budget. You don't have to spend a crazy amount of money on a high end brow pencil. This one does just as good of a job, and it is only a fraction of the price. It doesn't budge, and is so easy to apply. The tint/felt tip end makes drawing hair like strokes very easy too!
