When it comes to concealer, I think it is an essential step to the perfect face! A little can go a long way, and it can take your makeup from uneven and blotchy to perfect and flawless! You may think concealer can only be used to "conceal" imperfections and dark circles, but let me start by telling you, the ways of using concealer are limitless and so much more than just to cover and conceal!
I am also so happy and excited to say that for this post, I was inspired by Glossier with their site called Into The Gloss, which is all dedicated to beauty! They also share tips for best concealers.
1. LIFT YOUR FACE
This is a trick that is very popular, and is definitely become a huge trend in the world of makeup! By simply putting a lighter shade of concealer in a triangular shape under your eyes, it will give the appearance of a face lift. Your cheekbones and bone structure will appear lifted and sculpted! A face lift and a brighter look, in a few strokes!
2. BRIGHTEN
Applying concealer in a lighter shade under your eyes, chin, forehead and bridge of the nose, will not only lift and highlight, but it will bring much more light to the skin and brighten tired and dull skin!
3. CLEAN UP MISTAKES
This is something that we all do! Winged liner, messy eyeshadow, lip liner mistakes even your contour! If you make a mistake, apply a little concealer on top, and blend gently. This will sharpen things up and make everything look much more polished and perfect!
4. EYE PRIMER
Have you ever ran out of eye primer, and needed a quick fix? Pop a little bit of concealer on, blend and apply a setting powder on top. It will give the exact same effect and your eyeshadow will stay crease free and perfect all day/night!
5. CONTOUR/HIGHLIGHT
By using a lighter or darker shade of concealer, it can make the perfect contour or highlight. It makes it super easy to blend out and it makes your skin appear super flawless and perfect. It also creates a much more natural appearance as it is all creams!
6. TINTED MOISTURISER
Tinted moisturisers can cost a lot now, and some of them you can make yourself for a fraction of the price. Take your favourite concealer, and mix it with your face moisturiser, it will create a sheer and lightweight finish, which is very build-able and perfect for the hot summer weather!

I rely on concealer so much to clean up my eyebrows and winged liner haha. Doing my contour/highlight with concealer is something I definitely need to try!
