Soft and Girly Winged Cut Crease

5:00 PM

I have always been a fan of cut crease makeup. I think it is so pretty, but can be edgy too. As I am sure that most of you know by now, my favourite colours to work with on my eyes are pink shades, and this look has the perfect mix of pinks. This will work for so many eye shapes and skin tones, and I hope you like it! If you ever recreate a look that I do, tag me @chloexo15 on Instagram!

ONE
Start of with a white/nude shadow all over the lid to prep for shadow and set any primer or concealer.

TWO
I took a small crease brush and applied Too Faced Almond Truffle into my crease. I blended this one up the highest, so all of my other shades would have something to blend in to.

THREE
I took a smaller brush, and applied Smashbox Stripped, and applied it a little lower than the Almond Truffle shade, to build up some definition. Make sure the shadow is super seamless and blended, but don't blend as far up as the first shade.

FOUR
On the same brush as Stripped, I used Too Faced Bordeaux shadow, focusing this on the outer corner to the middle of my crease. You want to create your winged shape with this shadow too. Then just take a clean blending brush and softly blend this.

FIVE
I took MAC Studio Finish Concealer, and using a small, flat definer brush, I applied this to my lower lid and up to my crease, to sharpen the crease and create the cut crease effect.

SIX
When the concealer is still slightly tacky, I took the Urban Decay Pop shadow on a flat brush, dampened with Fix+ and applied this all over my eye lid, not going beyond the crease line. I also took this under the winged out part of the crease. Then I just cleaned up any mess at the outer corner with a wipe to give you a sharp angle.

SEVEN
I highlighted my inner corner with the purple shade from the Sleek Solstice palette, and cleaned up under my brow with a matte white shadow.

EIGHT
I applied my winged liner, mascara and some outer corner lashes. I also lined my waterline with a nude liner, before applied Almond Truffle and Bordeaux to my lower lash line.
