The £10 Highlight Palette Everyone Is Talking About

I am sure that you have heard a lot of hype surrounding the Sleek Highlight palette in Solstice. I have been searching high and low for this, and no where near me seem to sell it! I came across it the other day, so I had to pick it up! It has had so much hype, and so many extremely positive reviews from Kandee Johnson, Jaclyn Hill and so many more! If you love highlight like me, you would be very excited to give this a go!

It comes with one cream, one powder, and two baked powders. Not many affordable highlight palettes have a selection like this, so this is definitely something different! It also comes in gorgeous gold packaging that makes the product look very chic and expensive. It also has a good sized mirror, which is always nice in palettes!

Ps. Did you like the little mini video? haha!

The cream is so intense! It is very metallic, but if you blend it out really well, then it just gives a dewy glow. I did find though, if you apply too much, it can kind out bunch up, and go really thick and clumpy, and wipe of the makeup underneath if you rub it over the skin. But if you only a apply a little, and avoid rubbing, it is a beautiful cream highlight which acts as a perfect base for the powders.

The Subsolar shade (the white powder) is amazing! The same thing applies with all of the shades in this palette, a little goes a long way! Too much and you can tend to look like a tin man or something! They are extremely pigmented and very intense, so unless you want an extremely bright and over the top highlight, a little bit will do the job! It applied really smooth and evenly, and it leaves a very satin smooth finish on your skin. This shade would be perfect for anyone, like me, who has very fair skin.

The purple shade, Hemisphere is probably my favourite. It is very brightening and it adds the perfect glow. It is probably the most intense out of the palette, but it is so pretty and girly! It doesn't look like you have purple on your skin, but it just adds a brightening glow to the skin. Its also a really nice eye lid colour!

The peach, Equinox, adds a very nice, dewy glow, without being too over the top. It adds bronzed kind of glow. It goes so well on top of a tan, and if you have deeper skin, this is the one for you! I also like to adds a very light dusting of this over my blush, to add more of a healthy glow.

All in all, I love this palette. It is 100% worth the hype, and 100% has the quality of a much more expensive highlight palette. Amazing quality, colours and longevity! This is a must have for any highlight lover!
