Correcting the skintone can be very effective, leaving you with super flawless and perfect skin. It can make a big difference in your makeup, especially if you have discolouration or pigmentation in the skin. So, what are they and what do they do?

They are cream colour that you apply over pigmentation in the skin, contour-acting the tones, and correcting/neutralising them.

It is very easy to figure out what colour you need to use to correct pigmentation. All you have to do is follow the following chart that I have made.

Take a flat brush, and apply the needed corrector the the area. You should do this before any other makeup, on primed skin. Dab a little on, and then go over the top with your foundation/concealer! Make sure you really blend the foundation and concealer on top, as you don't want to see any of the corrector colour peeking through.
