Who else loves a good face mask? They are so beneficial to your skin, and can really help specific skin concerns. Oily skin, dry skin, acne, uneven texture, scarring and so much more. These new L'Oreal masks really caught my eye, because they are clay. Clay has been known for years to have amazing benefits for your skin. They are specifically good for oily skin, as they absorb any excess oil and sebum, and leave the skin deeply cleansed and smooth. Although, the new Pure Clay masks from L'Oreal mean that there is something for everyone. They are all enriched with vitamins and minerals, and will cater to all your skin needs. Detox, glow and purify.
I got the purify mask. This one caught my eye because it says it will purify and matify your skin, which is what I was looking for.
The first thing I noticed about this, is that it has a really strong smell, but it is actually quite a nice and spa like smell. I applied a decent layer of this, all over my face, avoiding my eyes and lips. Something that did shock me was how it started to kind of burn, and tingle. This goes away after about 30 seconds. It started to dry out really quick, and after about 8 or 9 minutes, it was completely dry and ready to be washed off. I just use a warm, damp face cloth to remove it, all you have to do is let it sit on the skin for a few seconds and gently wipe it away.
It leaves your skin feeling so clean and fresh. It doesn't make your skin really red after you use it, so it would work great for those of you who have very sensitive skin too. I also found that it did absorb any oil on my face, but I did think that it did dry my skin out a little bit, so I made sure to moisturise well after using this.
This is really great, I have used it a few times now, and can already see a clear improvement in my skin, I have a clearer and more even complexion. It feels great, and it does exactly what it says it will do, along with the fact that it is packed full of goodness for your skin. I really love this stuff, and would highly recommend this!
