As most of you will know already, I love animals. I have dogs myself, and I love them to bits. I hate to admit it, but so much of the makeup that I use, is not cruelty free. Although I am not going full cruelty free, yet, I thought I would do a full face of makeup, using only cruelty free makeup. I love all of these brands, and I really love the fact that they are all cruelty free. I have researched this, but if I am using anything that is not cruelty free, please let me know!
This is a really simple, and natural look. I didn't want to do anything intense, but something that everyone could do! Let me know what you think of this!
I started of the look with Bare Minerals Bare Skin Foundation. This is a gorgeous foundation. It is very build able, and I was able to get a full coverage finish, in a very short amount of time. It feels lovely on your skin, and it lasts such a long time. I really liked this, and will definitely use it again!
I then used Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer, which I was very happy to find out was cruelty free. You can read my whole review on this product here. I used this under my eyes, chin, bridge of my nose, and centre of the forehead, my shade is Fair Neutral.
Next, I set my face using the Blank Canvas Cosmetics Contour palette, using the yellow toned powder all over my face. I then took my Beauty Blender and applied the white powder under my eyes and anywhere I applied the concealer.
To contour, I used Sleek Face Form Palette in Light. I took the contour shade and lightly sweeped it under my cheekbones, jawline, forehead, and sides of the nose. I didn't go too harsh with the contour.
For my blush, I used one of my favourites, Physicians Formula Happy Booster in Rose. It is a beautiful pink shade, that complements so many different skin tones. Its very blend-able and looks gorgeous on your skin.
To highlight, I used Too Faced Champagne Truffle, this is technically an eyeshadow, but right now, it is my favourite highlight shade. Too Faced is completely cruelty free, and this shade is stunning.
For my brows, I used the Ardell Mechanical Brow pencil*. I didn't really get on with this. Its very waxy and just too soft. It smudges everywhere, and makes it very hard to create really sharp and precise brows.
For my eyes, I used the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette. I used the shades White Chocolate to highlight my brow bone and inner corner, Salted Caramel in the crease and all over the lid, and Semi Sweet on the outer corner and lower lash line. I then took the Urban Decay / Gwen Stefani Palette and applied Pop in the inner half of my eye. All of these shadows are amazing, and they are definitely some of my all time favourites.
For my mascara, I don't know if L'Oreal is 100% cruelty free, but I did see a quote from them saying that they don't test on animals, however, I have heard many different opinions on this. Anyway, I used the Miss Manga mascara, then the Miss Hippie mascara to my lashes.
I also lined my water line with the Bare Minerals Eternal Bronze liner. Then finished by applying Bare Minerals Lip Gloss in Wow Factor.

Nice post! L'Oreal aren't cruelty free, I find a lot of times companies like Nivea, Rimmel and L'Oreal try to say on their website that they are against it but they still do it. A good website I use to find cruelty free brands is crueltyfreekitty.com I find it so useful.

Ah you're so gorgeous! I found your blog through bloglovin' and so happy that I did! I actually think that we use more products than we think that are cruelty free...hopefully one day 100% will be! xx
