I love trying new foundations. Whenever I see a new foundation coming out, I instantly want to try it out! Especially if it is long wearing and full coverage. I think this Urban Decay foundation came out about a month ago, and I have been wanting to try it out. I have been using it for about a week now, so I have a good amount of thoughts and I am able to do my review now!
This claims to be a full coverage, long wearing, waterproof and it has a matte finish! So, it is definitely something that appealed to me! These claims are not lies either! This foundation is the most full coverage thing I have ever tried. Redness, acne scarring, freckles, you name it, this covers it! You only need one pump, and that leaves a full coverage finish on the whole face!
My favourite way to apply this foundation is with a Beauty Blender. I find when I use a brush, I can kind of look cakey, but the Beauty Blender just gives a more skin like finish. It blends really nicely, the only thing I don't love about this, is that it sets very quickly, so when you dot this on your skin, you have to start blending quickly. But it blends seamlessly, and very quickly. I tried to build this foundation up, and it does build really nicely. It doesn't go cakey, or patchy, but it layers beautifully, just adding a touch more coverage to the desired area!
This stays on all day long without fail. It doesn't get oily, it doesn't break down, it just stays looking amazing all day long! I do set this with a very light powder, but throughout the day, I don't feel the need to touch up, or apply any additional products. If you have oily skin, you will adore this foundation, but if you have dry skin, try mixing it with a dewy product, like Dew the Hoola from Benefit. I tried this, and it was stunning. With one pump, it doesn't give too much of a bronzed effect when mixed in with your foundation, but just adds a healthy glow. Even something like the Cover FX Highlight Drops, would work really well in this!
This is amazing, and I would highly recommend this, especially to any of you more on the oily side!
