I am so excited to share these photos with you! This is my first photo shoot, and I am so happy with how everything turned out. I want to mainly specialize in bridal makeup, so that is the theme that I went with for this photo shoot. I had a brilliant time working with my model, and creating this look! 

This look is obviously very subtle and natural, but all bridal looks are up to the bride, which is discussed during a consultation/trial!

I have been meaning to review these products for such a long time! I was sent this many months ago, and have been trying them out for myself and my mum. I have some good thoughts on these, and I am able to give a more detailed review on this range, after having them and using them for months now. Also, to avoid any confusion, Beauty Spin is now notino.co.uk

The Regenerating Body Oil, has to be my favourite from this range. It is lightweight, and absorbs super fast. To be honest, at the start I wasn't in love with the scent, but as I have continued to use it, I love it. I apply a 50p size of this into the palm of my hand and start massaging this into my skin in circular motions, going towards the heart at all times. This is to be applied on clean, damp skin, so it is the perfect thing to apply right after you get out of the shower, morning or night. It absorbs into the skin right away and doesn't leave a greasy feel on my skin. This is amazing, and perfect for the cold winter months coming up.

The Body Care Hand Cream with Pomegranate is amazing. It is full of essential oils and very good for your skin. There is no parabens or nothing nasty in any of the Weleda products, which is great. This is quite thick, so it is great to apply at night, pop on some cotton gloves and sleep with this one on to really deeply moisturise and sooth any dry hands. Amazing!

The Smoothing Facial Serum with Pomegranate is so good! This is designed for skin over 40, so I couldn't give this a good test on myself, so my mum tried it out for me (even though she's not 40 lol). She loves this stuff, and it is now a staple part of her skincare. It hydrates the skin and plumps the skin up. It also gives a gorgeous glow. If you apply this right after toner, and then moisturise, you will wake up with soft and plump skin. Amazing for anyone looking for something smoothing and anti-aging!

I was so excited when the Konjac Sponge Company got in touch to send me a sponge to try out and review for you all. I have been wanting to try something like this out for the longest time, and I was very eager to try and see if they actually work as good as people said they do. 

I was sent the French Green Clay Konjac Facial Puff Sponge. Which is designed specifically for oily/combination skin, which I have. I love clay masks, so I was hoping that the green clay in this would have the same effect on my skin. It is amazing. I am in love with this little sponge.

I have to admit, I love bright colours, I may not wear them all that much on my eyes, but I think they are really fun to play around with. I do however, love to add a bright colour to my lower lashline, and blend it out to add a pop of colour! I think coloured liner is great, and a little bit of eyeshadow on top is perfect.

I was sent these two products a few weeks ago, and I have been trying them out to see what I think. If you love anything that is bright, fun and colourful, or you just want to add an extra pop to your glam, keep on reading!

The BH COSMETICS EYES ON THE 80's palette is full of every colour you would ever need (except the boring nude and brown shades). Blues, pinks, yellows, even green. I don't completely adore this palette, I think some of the shades are better than others. Some are really pigmented and smooth, while others are quite powdery and patchy, however they are easily fixed with a little bit of Fix+ sprayed on the brush before dipping in to the product. 

The colours are very bright, and they do blend very nicely. They don't take a lot of effort to blend, and they stay looking good for a long period of time, without any creasing.

The other product I want to talk about is the DERMACOL COLOUR EYELINER IN ELECTRIC BLUE. This is stunning. I did not expect this to be so good! This is so pigmented and crazy long wearing. It is extremely easy to apply because of the felt tip applicator, and it does not irritate my eyes at all! I love this for a fun and different winged liner! If you are wearing a really simple makeup look, this can add so much to your makeup look, and really make blue eyes pop!

In a recent blog post, I raved about how much I loved the Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Liners, but recently I found a much cheaper product, which claims to do a very similar job, for under £5. (UD Glitter Liners are £14 each) So, if this Sleek Glitter Liner does the same job, I will be saving quite a bit of money.

The UD liners are very highly packed with glitter. They are extremely pigmented, and the extremely thin brush makes it really easy to do precise liner. The Sleek liner is also really pigmented, but it is more pigmented with the colour, and not as much sparkle. But after building it up, you can get it very sparkly. 

The Sleek liner takes forever to dry, it honestly feels like you have been sitting there for hours, just waiting for it to dry, to layer on top of it. The UD does take a little time, but not as much. Working in thin layers, it may only take up to 30 seconds for it to dry, which is also a huge benefit!

UD have 7 shades total, Sleek only has this one, which is called Steel. So, if I was going to buy some more shades, I would just go back to UD, because you can see and feel a quality difference, and it is also a lot more gentle on my eyes, causing no irritation or stinging!

They are both great, and they are similar, but I would't say that it was a dupe unfortunatly. It just doesn't have the same quality or shade range that the UD ones do. I do like the Sleek glitter eyeliner, but I just wish they had more shades to choose from!

I love Kylie Cosmetics. I think the quality is very high, and the prices aren't too crazy (its the customs that are overpriced!) Everything that I have tried from Kylie, I have loved. So I decided to treat myself with a Metallic Lipstick from her, in the shade Reign.

Oh my goodness. This is such a gorgeous shade! It is a beautiful deep red shade, with a lovely metallic red sheen coming from it. It is the perfect winter, Christmas shade! I think the metallic finish is very trendy right now, and also it is not uncomfortable or drying on the lips at all! 

It is a little bit darker than what I expected it to be, and to be honest, I bought it actually because I thought it wasn't too dark. However, I really like how it turned out. I don't think I would have bought this type of shade for myself, but I actually really love it!

I do find that the regular matte formulas last a lot longer than this one. It doesn't feel like it sets completely on the lips, but it does feel like it is moving around throughout the day, and it does come off a lot quicker than the mattes. But it does stay on for a good few hours before having to touch it up.

I love this. I think it is so different, but so unique and lovely for this Christmas! This is maybe going to be my Christmas day lip colour! This is $18, which is roughly £14, which is not bad at all for a great lippie!

I am always looking for the perfect foundation. Not too heavy, not cakey, not too matte and lighweight on the skin. I have heard really good things about this YSL foundation, and being a fan of the brand for a long time, I thought I would give it a go!

This is £32.50, which is kind of pricey for a foundation, but I do have to admit that I am willing to spend the most on my foundation, because I think it is the most important part of the makeup. If your skin is looking good, the rest of your makeup will also look good! ]

Is it actually full coverage? No, I would say that this is a medium coverage when you initially apply it. I think it can be built up to a full coverage, but it isn't quite the full coverage at the start! It does however give a flawless radiance. It isn't oily or shiny looking, just luminous and healthy, I do tend to set this with a powder, because I am oily, but it stays in place all day, with no touch ups needed at all, so it does last 8 hours, and longer!

It is one of the only foundations that I can say is completely weightless on my skin, while giving good coverage, it doesn't feel like I am wearing a mask of really thick and heavy foundation. Plus, this smells so fancy, haha! If you have tried other YSL products, you know the smell I am talking about! 

I love this stuff, and I would highly recommend it! I also think that it is great for most skin types, maybe not if you are super oily, but if you are normal, dry or slightly oily, like me, this is great, and you will love it! Let me know if you have tried this, and what you thought of it! 

Since I have started my makeup artist career, I have been working really hard on building up my kit. The one area that I knew I was probably going to have the spend the most money on was base. Foundation, concealers and powders. I knew that not only was it going to cost me a complete fortune, but it would take a while to get all the shades, undertones and different types of foundations/concealers for all skin tones and types. 

I remember years ago when I first started watching Kandee Johnson on YouTube, she raved about the RCMA VK11 Palette. It is basically a palette with 18 shades of foundation and concealer. So I decided to purchase one for my kit, for professional use. I also knew that I would probably go through this very fast, so I decided to also buy the Graftobian HD Creme Foundation Super Palette, so if you want me to also do a review on that, comment below letting me know!

So you can obviously see that the Pros definitely outweigh the cons! I love this and would recommend this specifically to anyone who is a pro makeup artist, but it is amazing for anyone using it just for personal use, as it is awesome as a cream contour and highlight palette too! 

This is amazing, and would highly recommend! This is definitely a five star product in my opinion.

First off, the brushes themselves are affordable. I ordered them direct from the Morphe site however, and shipping it to the UK is not affordable. I paid $40 for shipping, and then another £30 for customs. Safe to say I will not be ordering direct from them again, but from Cult Beauty because it doesn't have to go through customs, and it comes from the UK.

To get to the point, these brushes are amazing. They are so soft and so easy to work with, so easy to clean and are completely cruelty free. I chose a goat hair set, and also a synthetic set, so I would be able to review both. I loved both, but I personally preferred the synthetic set. They are much easier to clean and I find that they don't absorb as much product as the natural hair set. I find that the synthetic brushes are a little softer too! 

Both sets of brushes give a super airbrushed finish. Very smooth and very flawless. I love these, and I will for sure be ordering some more of these brushes in the future!

As many of you will already know, Benefit Ka Brow is my all time favourite brow product. It is so quick and easy, although it is a little bit more on the pricey side. I was in Superdrug the other day, and I came across the Freedom Brow Pomade, and thought it was a similar idea as Ka Brow, so I thought I would try it out for this post!

Benefit Ka Brow is quite dry for a pomade, which is nice because you get good control that way with it and it isn't as messy when you blend it out with a spoolie. However, the Freedom one is a lot softer, which means yes it is super pigmented, but when you come to blend the product through the brow, it can get very smudged and messy!

Ka Brow comes in 6 shades, while the Freedom comes in 11 shades, so there is definitely something to match you perfectly, if you can't find your perfect shade in Ka Brow. So that is great, and something that certainly makes the product seem better!

They both stay on all day, but I do find that the Ka Brow is a little harder to get off, and it is waterproof. The Freedom Brow Pomade does stay on all day, but as far as I am aware, I don't find this to be waterproof, or as long lasting as Ka Brow.

So in my opinion, I do prefer the Benefit product. I think it is quick and easy to apply, and it stays on better than any other brow product I have ever tried. However, if you are looking for an affordable brow product, then the Freedom one is for you! It's only £5, and there is very little differences between the Benefit and it.

If you have seen my last few posts, you would have noticed that I have been talking a lot about cruelty free makeup and beauty. I have explained it before, so I am not going to go in to too much detail, but long story short, I love animals, and the thought of any of them getting harmed really annoys me! So I have been doing research on some cruelty free makeup, and thought I would share my top favourite cruelty free brands!

INSTANT EFFECTS

I got to know about this brand a few months ago, when they kindly sent me some products to review, and I have been obsessed with their brand ever since. They are 100% cruelty free, and they work! The lip plumper is the best I have ever tried, the eye cream is magical and the lash serum makes your lashes and brows very long and thick!

TOO FACED

I feel like this is an obvious one, since I am always using their products and sharing photos of their products on my Instagram. Not only are they amazing for your skin, because they include skin loving ingredients, but they are such high quality, and they have such a good range of products.

BLANK CANVAS COSMETICS

I first started using this brand last Christmas, after receiving some of their goodies as a Christmas present. I was not expecting anything huge to be honest, but these are some of the best brushes that I have ever used. They are so soft, and easy to work with. They do such a good job at evenly applying and blending out makeup, so they are perfect for even professional makeup!

CLARINS

I was so happy to find out Clarins were cruelty free. They have some of my favourite products, their concealer and foundations are so good! Such a good brand, and 100% cruelty free!

BARE MINERALS

Like the Too Faced, if you have been here for a while, you seen this coming. This is one of my top 3 favourite brands. Their cosmetics are so good for your skin, so pure, and very high quality. When my skin is going through a hard time, I always resort back to this, and within three days, the original foundation clears up my skin! A really amazing brand to try out!

THE BALM

This is a high end brand, which is not extremely expensive, but so good! Their highlights are amazing, especially Mary Lou! So happy this is another brand that does not test on animals!

URBAN DECAY

I have been buying Urban Decay since I was about 13 or 14, so if they weren't cruelty free, I would be pretty upset! Thankfully, they are cruelty free, and their products are amazing. Their new All Nighter foundation is my new favourite, and the Naked palettes, are just a holy grail staple in so many peoples makeup collection, including mine!
