When it comes to foundations, it is safe to say that I own way to many. I love to try out new formulas from different brands. I think that foundation/base is the most important part of your makeup, and can kind of make or break the overall finish of your makeup.
Over time, I have tried out a lot of different foundations. High end and drugstore, and I have a few that I think would be great for the Spring and Summer time, when the weather is getting a little warmer.
LIGHT COVERAGE
MAYBELLINE DREAM FRESH BB CREAM
With light coverage, a beautiful glowing a fresh complexion, with a SPF of 30, this is the must have skincare and beauty product for the hot weather. Not only does it protect your skin, but it evens out your skin tone, and creates a perfect dewy finish which is lightweight and perfect for hot weather!
LOREAL NUDE MAGIQUE EAU DE TEINT
This is lighter than water. It is light coverage, but is build able which is great. It perfectly evens out the skin tone and sets to a powder finish. It is a very lightweight formula so your ckin won't feel like your wearing a mask in the hot weather, which also means it won't clog your pores!
MEDIUM COVERAGE
LOREAL TRUE MATCH FOUNDATION
I have talked about this many times on my blog. It is a medium coverage foundation that looks like real skin, so you will get the coverage without looking too made up, or cakey. It is dewy and lightweight so your skin will not clog your pores either which is amazing!
BOIRJOIS HEALTHY MIX FOUNDATION
This is a beautiful foundation. It is very radiant, and looks like you have naturally flawless skin. It has so much added skin care benefits, and lasts all day, even in the heat. It won't look or feel thick or cakey, which is perfect for Spring and Summer!
FULL COVERAGE
RIMMEL STAY MATTE FOUNDATION
This is FULL COVERAGE. Your skin will be like a doll after your apply this. It is very thick, although if you blend it out with a damp beauty blender, and use a setting spray when your finished applying it, it will help thin it out and look more like skin. Although it is heavy, the reason why this is great for the hot weather is that it is bulletproof. It stays on your face, it doesn't get patchy, uneven or wear off. It also keeps you perfectly matte. If you are dry, don't even try this, it won't work for you.
RIMMEL LASTING FINISH
I think this is a more wearable version of the Stay Matte. It is pretty much the same, only not as matte or as thick. It still lasts all day and is perfect on the skin. Dry skin could maybe also get away with using this!
MAX FACTOR FACE FINITY
If your American, (comment below if your from America :) ) this is the Covergirl 3 in 1 foundation. This is just the UK brand. This is full coverage with a concealer and primer built in, and because of the primer in it, it will last all day. Unlike the other two, this is much more lightweight and won't feel as heavy on your skin!
