I have been watching Tanya Burr on YouTube for around 5 years, and I have always been a huge fan of hers! (Side note, I am so excited to actually MEET Tanya this month! Is anyone else going to the Tanya Bakes Book Tour?)
I have purchased a lot of her cosmetics range in the past, and it is safe to say that I was never disappointed with any of them! They are all very affordable, but the quality is as good as a lot of the high end brands I own! When I heard that she was going to be coming out with matte liquid lipsticks, I knew I had to get my hands on one shade is particular, Martha Moo!
As a lot of you will know, my favourite liquid lipsticks are Kylie Cosmetics, Koko K and Candy K. I had high expectations for the Tanya Burr one because I loved those so much! She has three shades in store, but there is 3 more online that you can pick from. I picked up Martha Moo, not only because I was most into that shade, but the Superdrug I went to only had that one left!
I can honestly say, this is way better than any other liquid lipstick I own, including the Kylie ones. I was so surprised at how amazing these were! I applied this at about 10 in the morning, and at 5 in the evening this still looked like it did at 10 in the morning! I did not touch it up at all, which I would have to do even with Kylie Cosmetics. I ate, drank, talked, nothing wore this lip off! I chose to remove it at 5 in the evening just because I was at home at that stage and I wanted to remove my makeup, but it most likely would have stayed on longer if I didn't!
This didn't dry out my lips either. It has a very lightweight formula, and it feels quite hydrating and moisturising too, which is weird with a liquid lipstick! It doesn't settle into fine lines on the lips too, it just stays very smooth and even, so it makes your lips look flawless and very smooth! I love it!
I love this, I think it is definitely worth the money, and for only £5.99, I am definitely going to be purchasing more from the collection!
